Education Committee

The purpose of the AAKC Education Committee is to provide direction for programs associated with educating future leaders in the rental housing industry, as well as offer continuing education for current AAKC members and industry professionals. The committee seeks instructors with NAA designations, professional speakers on a multitude of topics, and local talent wanting to educate members. Committee meetings begin late summer for next year's education program, and then meet periodically throughout the year. The education committee also oversees the Leadership Education and Development program (LEAD), which is only available through the AAKC.  The committee invites you to join at any time by contacting Kendra Greer or Quinton Lewis.

The AAKC maintenance committee has now been formed and is planning a maintenance bootcamp along with the Apartment Careers committee.  A maintenance seminar is planned for October for all maintenance team members.
