Professional Bio
My journey began by taking a leap of faith by departing a 9-5pm job where I was surrounded by friends, in my comfort zone, to a new position in a new field I knew nothing about. Little did I know that quiet office job at a restoration company in 2012 was going to take me on an adventure of a lifetime.
My first year in restoration was like the new kid in school. Very awkward, and trying to figure out where I fit. When you're in the restoration industry for so long, the language, procedures, and equipment are second nature to you. To someone new in the industry, you're speaking a foreign language. Finding the courage to look past your vulnerability and ask for help comes from the deepest part of your soul. Finding the person who sees the potential in you because you show a valued interest in serving the customers best interest is the beginning of a path to a new future.
Over the course of my restoration career I have traveled coast to coast and everything in the middle. Meeting colleges and making friends along the way and standing side-by-side with my client in their worst time of need. Nothing makes you feel more vulnerable than not having control when disaster hits you and your not prepared. But, knowing my clients interest and needs come first and I will always be there for them when they need me 24/7 is my reward.
