Description:
A well-established, Regional Property Management Company (MLP, LLC) is seeking a Full-Time Area Manager to support the growing portfolio. This position will be based in the Kansas City, MO. The Area Manager position is responsible for maintaining operations of the developments under their direction. Some examples of essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop employees under supervision in accordance with company policies and directives.
- Delivers performance evaluations for supervised employees.
- Monitors market conditions and provides pricing recommendations designed to maintain/improve occupancy
- Performs site visits to ensure day-to-day operations are running smoothly.
- Reviews and prepares various weekly, monthly, annual reports.
- Reviews and audits property administrative, accounting, and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Resolves resident-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure the property is being maintained in a clean and presentable condition.
- Inspects properties to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality are maintained, evaluates maintenance, grounds and housekeeping to ensure efficiency.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Professional designations are preferred
Qualified Skills
Qualifications:
- 5+ years or more of Multi-Family Property Manager Experience
- 5+ years or more in the Multi-Site (overseeing 3+ assets with full staffs), Area or Regional Manager Role
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment, and possess strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers
