Membership Committee
This committee is responsible for increasing our membership. We also promote existing member retention by encouraging participation in educational and networking events. The membership committee is also responsible for welcoming individuals at our luncheons, and other events.
The overall goal is to make sure all members and non-members are aware of the education opportunities and events hosted by the AAKC, and to encourage ongoing participation from all members.
The committee oversees the ambassador committee. This committee consists of individuals who have volunteered to mentor our new members. Each ambassador is assigned a new member to help them get involved on committees, introduce them to our members at meetings and notifying them of our upcoming events, meetings, etc.
