Gerald Thompson is the Owner of House Doctors of Northland KC, a locally owned and nationally supported franchise under Premium Service Brands. Gerald acquired the business in 2019 after recognizing that the House Doctors brand aligned closely with his background in hands-on home repairs and his commitment to helping homeowners improve and maintain their properties. Based in the Liberty, Missouri area, House Doctors of Northland KC serves the entire Northland region of Kansas City, with a primary focus on Clay and Platte counties.

Gerald leads the company with a strong commitment to its mission: to provide customer service and quality workmanship second to none. House Doctors of Northland KC is anchored by core values of Craftsmanship, Continuous Improvement, Integrity, Open-Minded communication, and Teamwork. Gerald is actively engaged in the home services and multifamily housing industries. He is a member of the Apartment Association of Kansas City (AAKC), the Professional Remodeling Collective (PRC), and the Senior Falls Prevention Coalition of Clay and Platte Counties. He has completed both the LEAD and Lyceum leadership programs, serves on the House Doctors Franchise Advisory Council, and is a Board Member of the Liberty Area Chamber of Commerce.

His leadership and the company’s impact have been recognized through multiple awards, including Franchisee of the Year in 2019 and 2020, and KC Chamber Small Business Superstar in 2024. Gerald lives in Lathrop, Missouri, and in his downtime he enjoys fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
