Jeannette Cox is Chief Operating Officer of Oddo Development Company overseeing strategy, development and operations for residential, multi-family and commercial real estate. Ms. Cox has over 15 years of successful experience in commercial real estate and property management with strengths in owner-manager communications, company strategies and multi-family design and functionality.

Ms. Cox earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration, holds her CAPS certification and currently serves on the executive board for the National Apartment Association and past President of the Kansas City Apartment Association. She is also the recipient of several awards, including Management Executive of the Year and recognized as Ingram’s Women of Influence.

Melonie Harris assumed the role of Senior Regional Property Manager at Block Multifamily Group in November 2015. Before joining BMG, she embarked on her professional journey with Lincoln Property Company in 1997. With a background that encompasses Assistant Regional Property Manager and Business Manager roles, Melonie has effectively overseen multi-site management, comprising approximately 4,000 units.

Her wealth of experience includes a comprehensive skill set, allowing her to adeptly analyze, evaluate, and supervise various aspects such as Financial Performance, Liability Management, Capital Improvements, Business Management, and Personnel. Proficient in developing annual capital and operational budgets, as well as business plans, Melonie excels in conducting due diligence for new acquisitions and providing training to on-site staff in business practices for immediate operations.

Katelyn Nichols serves as a Vice President for Dalmark Management Group, overseeing strategic operations for a diverse portfolio of 2,300 units across Missouri and Kansas. Katelyn takes pride in providing Dalmark’s Team Members with a supportive work environment and in providing residents with a quality, enjoyable home. Katelyn holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Entertainment Management with a minor in Marketing from Missouri State University.

Katelyn is currently serving as Vice President for the AAKC. She co-chairs the Trade Show committee. Katelyn has earned both her Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor and Certified Apartment Manager designations through the National Apartment Association. Katelyn is a Certified Property Manager (CPM ®) with the Institute of Real Estate Management. She also holds the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation with the National Association of Home Builders.

Blaise Tomazic is a seasoned professional in the commercial real estate sector, currently serving as the Director of Market Analytics for St. Louis and Kansas City at CoStar Group. With an extensive career spanning more than 15 years in commercial real estate, Blaise has showcased his expertise and leadership across various pivotal roles in the industry.

His journey commenced at JLL, where he worked for more than a decade. Here, he served in various roles, including Vice President of Office Brokerage and as a Research Manager, honing his skills in market research, financial analysis, and data visualization. Blaise’s multifaceted skill set, blending analytical acumen with tech proficiency, underscores his ability to drive strategic decision-making and provide vital insights into the dynamic commercial real estate landscape.

Jason Grill is the Founder of JGrill Consulting. Through his consulting firm, Jason assists AAKC as Managing Director of Government Affairs on public affairs, policy, and advocacy, as well as strategy and messaging. Jason has extensive experience working with individuals, organizations, foundations, associations, developers, and other businesses of all sizes on strategic public affairs on the local, state, and national level. In addition to his consulting role with AAKC, Jason is the Head of Government Affairs at Right to Start, a Senior Advisor at Parris Communications, and a licensed attorney in Missouri and Kansas.

Jason has been honored with many professional and civic awards in his career, such as the Kansas City Business Journal’s Next Gen Leader Award, Ingram’s Magazine Forty Under Forty Award, Boy Scouts of America’s National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award, Autism Speaks Advocacy Award, University of Missouri School of Law Distinguished Graduate Award.
