THE 29^th ANNUAL AAKC CRYSTAL MERIT AWARDS

The Apartment Association of Kansas City cordially invites the Kansas City rental housing industry 

to participate in the nomination of Owners, Apartment Communities, and Team Members

The Crystal Merit Awards are designed to honor those in our association who have made significant contributions to the rental housing industry. Every nominee deserves recognition for their achievements in excellence. Please help us celebrate by nominating the "BEST OF THE BEST" for the 29^th Annual AAKC CRYSTAL MERIT Awards.

How to enter:

• STEP 1: Visit the AAKC website at aakc.us to register all entries. 
• STEP 2: Click on Event tab, then click Crystal Merit Individual Nomination or Crystal Merit Property/Company Nomination.
• STEP 3: Completely fill out Nomination(s), answer all questions, provide all required documents and process payment and submit. 
• Note - Interviews for all nominations will begin in January/February.    Individual nominations will be interviewed at the AAKC office.  A few of the property nominations will be reviewed on-site, see categories.

The cost per entry is:

• $50.00 - Early Bird - entries must arrive before November 21st, 2025 at 12:00 pm, and be paid in full.
• $75.00 - Entries submitted November 21st, at 12:01 pm through December 19th, 2025 at 12:00 pm and be paid in full.

*NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE WILL BE MADE*

ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED ACCORDING TO THE CRITERIA GIVEN BELOW

Individuals nominating anyone in the following categories must be sure of the following:

Name is spelled correctly

Nominee is in the correct category selected

Individual nominations require a detailed overview of why they are deserving of that award. Be sure to have this ready when placing  your nominations.

WHEN SUBMITTING MATERIALS (PHOTOS, POWERPOINTS, ETC.) FOR YOUR NOMINATIONS, PLEASE ENSURE:

Your files are less than 20mb per file.

Your file is in one of the following types: .DOC, .DOCX, .JPEG, .JPG, .PDF, .PPT, .PPTX, or .PNG

If your file is too large, you can add it to a compressed folder or save as a different file type (for example, a powerpoint can be saved as a pdf)

All uploaded materials MUST be submitted at the time you submit your nomination

No external links may be included in your uploaded materials.

No files will be accepted after your nomination has been paid for.

The AAKC staff is not responsible for verification of this information.
