Job Description:*
This safety sensitive position is responsible for maintenance of the residential apartment’s homes, public space, outside grounds and equipment. Supervise and manage all employees connected with these areas to ensure adherence to company guidelines and achieve excellent customer satisfaction. Supervision and work direction to housekeeping/janitorial, maintenance technicians, care takers and grounds keeping, as delegated by Community Manager. Daily exterior and interior inspections of the community to assure maintenance and cleanliness procedures are being followed.Management: Supervision and work direction to housekeeping/janitorial, maintenance technicians, care takers and grounds keeping, as delegated by Community Manager. Property Appearance/Upkeep: Keep the property in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition. Daily exterior and interior inspections of the community to assure maintenance and cleanliness procedures are being followed. Cross utilization of Groundskeeper duties may be required. Preventive Maintenance: Execute and document preventive maintenance program for resident apartments, public spaces, and equipment. Purchasing/Maintenance Inventory: Maintain proper amount of parts and supplies in-stock in a well organized and clean manner following the purchasing guidelines of the company. Pool Maintenance (if applicable): Completion of daily chemical inspections, maintenance and cleaning to meet city codes and company standards. Customer Service: Ensure that the property meets and exceeds company standards for resident satisfaction and is available for on-call emergencies (i.e., snow removal) per Community Manager's request. Perform other duties as needed.
Educational Requirements:*
High school diploma or GED required. Pool and HVAC certification preferred, boiler certification if appropriate.
