DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include: Track and complete service requests on occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities. Perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, lighting, etc. Prepare apartments for tour/following residents move in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary. Assist with semi-annual property inspections, fire safety, pest control, etc. Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory. Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc). Complete any additional projects as requested under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required A current driver’s license is required Two years of facility or property maintenance experience is required EPA certification is strongly preferred Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required. Candidates must receive a passing score on the Maxus maintenance exam. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour. We are an equal opportunity employer.
