Description:

Maxus Make Ready Technicians are responsible for the overall maintenance of our communities, with a focus on preparing apartments for incoming residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing apartments for the tour/next residents' move-in by conducting lock changes, move-out inspections, trash out, punch out, and scheduling vendors where necessary.
• May be called upon to track and complete service requests for occupied and vacant apartments, office/clubhouse, and amenities, as well as perform timely repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and lighting.
• May be called upon to assist with property inspections including semi-annual, fire safety, pest control, etc.
• Assist with controlling and reporting stock and inventory. Safely use and perform periodic maintenance of tools and equipment (hammer, drill, saw, gauges, etc). Complete any additional projects as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualified Skills:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• A current driver’s license is required
• One year of facility or property maintenance experience is required
• EPA certification is strongly preferred
• Candidates must receive a passing score on the Maxus maintenance exam.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
• Candidates must receive a passing score on the Maxus maintenance exam.
• The candidate must live within 30 minutes of the property to allow for on-call rotation.
