JUSTIN MURRAY

I am originally a native of the Wichita, Kansas area. I moved to Kansas City in August 2011 to continue pursuing my efforts as a professional blues guitarist/musician (I began performing at the age of 17 and continued performing for the next 18 years). While my music career has provided me the opportunity to travel (tour) and perform/record with some top-level artists and producers, being a professional musician has not always paid the bills. Haha! I took up contract painting and small-scale remodeling to help supplement my income after my initial move to Kansas City. From that, I began my multi-family career in the Summer of 2012 with Price Brothers Management. Over the next part of the decade, I would work may through the various levels of the on-site maintenance team (groundskeeper, make ready, make ready technician) and eventually create a position for myself at the corporate level as a Make Ready (Turn) Specialist. With this position, I was able to exercise my passion to educate and advocate for betterment of on-site maintenance teams by writing, developing, educating and training both on-site administrative and maintenance teams on how to best conduct and utilize their make ready programs. Additionally, I have held a position as general contractor and a commercial contractor where I exclusively worked with Blue Valley Schools during the Spring & Summer of 2016. I have always been passionate about training and educating future musicians, so I have also tended to being a guitar instructor (maintaining a private student portfolio, as well as teaching at local music schools).
