Fair Housing: WHY and HOW
Often Fair Housing training only focuses on the law-and it should! Yet, for teams to truly embrace the Spirit of Fair Housing the WHY needs to come before the HOW. Join Rebecca and hear a brief, moving history lesson that brings life to the reason the laws were and are still needed to ensure equal and fair housing for all. Discover exclusionary attitudes and biases that can lead to potential misunderstandings and increase potential for a fair housing claim. All federal and NC Fair Housing laws will be examined. This seminar is perfect for all on-site teams (maintenance included), along with corporate staff.

Rebecca Rosario, LEGO® Serious Play® Certified Facilitator is a multifamily performance consultant and nationally recognized speaker and facilitator, presenting at local and state apartment associations, as well as a recurrent presenter for The National Apartment Association’s Apartmentalize Conference. She is President of Full House Marketing, Inc., based in Durham, N.C., Founder of Diversity-Connection, and an ApartMentor. In addition to over 30 self-authored talent development programs, Rebecca facilitates CALP, CAM, and CAPS for NAAEI. She serves on local, state, and national committees focusing on DEI and Apartment Careers. Currently, she serves on the NAAEI Board of Directors.
