Overall Responsibility:
The Maintenance Office Assistant provides administrative support to the department on maintenance projects and activities, including pest control requests, requests for service work, special projects.
We are hiring a Maintenance Office Assistant for the Kansas City region! The pay rate for this role is $20/hour.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Administers daily operations in the maintenance office including scheduling, vendor requests, work orders.
- Performs administrative duties including creating reports, answering phone calls from residents, dispatching emergency calls from the answering service, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Assists with special projects as needed. Provides assistance to senior management team for special projects as assigned.
- Schedule and follow up on all pest control related work orders
- Assist with inventory control duties when needed
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and internet navigation required. Salesforce experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable organization skills including the ability to accurately record data and maintain data integrity.
- Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and accomplish goals and objective.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written skills.
Measures of Success:
· All resident correspondence complies with Mac Property Management’s standards.
· Pest control is scheduled and completed in a timely manner
· Make ready work orders are submitted to vendors and on-site staff in a timely manner

Education Requirements:
