Our combined acquisition and property management team includes approximately 200 energetic professionals who manage and drive our business within in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-faceted and dynamic environment.
The Community Manager is fully accountable for all day to day property operations, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property; Effectively manage and coordinate persons, activities, and available resources in order to accomplish community objectives as set forth by the Regional Director and Avanti Residential. Objectives include maximizing occupancy levels, asset preservation and resident satisfaction.
Necessary skills include a minimum of three years supervisory experience and five years of multi-family property management; a working knowledge of resident and eviction laws and computerized property management software, YARDI preferred. Must have the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing and possess strong organizational skills. Provide the ability to delegate and communicate along with the ability to problem-solve issues.
Qualified Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in property management, real estate, business administration, business management or a related field; OR
- Five years of increasingly responsible property management experience including three years of supervisory responsibility
- Possession of valid driver’s license and up to date vehicle insurance; OR reliable transportation Required
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures
- Use of personal vehicle for local job-related travel Prior to employment, pass Criminal Background
