Job Description: As a Maintenance Team Member at Worcester Communities, you will be an integral part of our mission to ensure our properties are safe, well-maintained, and a great place for residents to call home. Your role is critical in maintaining and enhancing the physical integrity of our communities. Key Responsibilities: General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance. Repairs: Address repair requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring all maintenance issues are resolved to residents' satisfaction. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance on a regular schedule to prevent issues before they occur. Groundskeeping: Maintain the appearance of the community by landscaping, snow removal, and exterior cleaning. Safety: Ensure that all safety regulations and standards are met and that the community is a safe environment for residents. Inventory Management: Keep track of maintenance supplies and equipment, and report when items need to be replenished. Emergency Response: Be available for on-call emergency maintenance duties on a rotational basis. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous maintenance or repair experience is required. Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the field.
