Let’s talk about where you’d fit in: Worcester Communities is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Facility Manager to ensure every property remains safe, functional, and aligned with our rigorous company standards. This pivotal role demands a technical expert capable of deep analysis, meticulous quality control, and system adherence. You will serve as the crucial technical bridge connecting on-site teams, regional managers, and vendors to ensure communication, accountability, and follow-through on all maintenance and capital projects. What You'll Do: Strategic Financial Oversight: Drive performance by implementing effective cost control and revenue improvement programs to achieve the highest possible Net Operating Income (NOI). You will identify trends and recommend appropriate strategies and adjustments. Rapid Problem Diagnosis & Implementation: Quickly learn and apply knowledge to seamlessly transition between roles within the multifamily office. This includes managing operations, leasing, and maintenance coordination. Market & Sales Strategy: Effectively maintain product and competitive knowledge through consistent evaluation of market conditions and trends. Direct the implementation of sales and marketing plans to maximize rental income and budgeted occupancy. On-Site Coaching & Mentorship: Provide coaching, training, and administrative support to on-site teams. This includes new hire onboarding and advising teams on policies and procedures to ensure operational goals are met. Operational Integrity: Manage property risk, ensure all fair housing laws and company policies are upheld, and maintain high standards of resident relations. What You'll Bring: One to three years of project management experience is required. Three years of property management maintenance experience is required. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance. Required computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Business Suite, and Entrata Property Management Software. Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state, or federal law, such as EPA and CPO. The ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as operating and maintenance manuals. The position requires individuals to be able to use general maintenance equipment, including, but not limited to, hand tools, ladders, and refrigerant recovery units.
